A weekend of To dos

I have had a rather productive weekend Wedding wise.

I got out of bed at 8:30 on Saturday morning to head down to Knox (a large shopping centre) for research time.

THE LIST

- Find the boys suits -> Done, see below. These are reduced from $249 to $99! I discussed with the owner and we can get 7, if we give him all the sizes etc this week! Hurray - Man2Man

- Source cheap disposable cameras -> Cheapest is $5 from the Reject Shop - 27 exp, Flash - we need 14 = $70.00

- Source Paper Bags for kids favors -> I got a packet of 12, silly me I thought they had 24 doh! It was only $2.50 for the pack though. Plain white paper bags. - Spotlight

- Source Pencils for kids favors -> A great excuse to go to Typo - 12 pack of natural pencils = $9.95 - 95c for the other 2 single ones.

- Look for cheap white vases -> I couldn't find any apart from the $3 kmart ones I already had (So I grabbed 3 more). I did find clear $2 candle holders from the Reject Shop - See below.

- Research cheap material for carport roof drapping -> I think we will use Calico - This is between $3.50 --> $4.99 per metre. Spotlight.

- Purchase Lace for Jars -> Got 3m of $2 lace! Spotlight.

- Research cheap calico type material for table covers -> This is between $3.50 --> $4.99 per metre. Spotlight.

- Research retro/floral material for Photo Booth -> The only material I liked was $9.99 per metre. I will wait for boxing day sales.

- Enquire about wedding band -> Michael Hill Jewellers - $799 normally will do it for $529 - My changes (setting the green stones etc) is $120 - This all up is $600 less than we thought! Need to order asap though!

- Enquire about wedding makeup. -> $100 from Napolean - I don't think so.....
